Port State Control Assistance
We prepare vessels to successfully pass Port State Control inspections, preventing delays and fines. We identify non-conformities and provide immediate solutions to ensure full compliance.
Pre-Vetting and pre-PSC Inspections
Vetting inspections play a critical role for global bulk carrier and tanker charterers to ensure that each candidate vessel undergoes a thorough risk assessment and inspection to determine its relative safety for a particular voyage. A physical assessment of a ship before embarking on a particular voyage is critical to ensure that all critical areas of the ship, designed to
preserve the cargo being carried, are in good condition so as to reduce the risk of cargo claims resulting from damaged cargo, or reduce the risk that voyages are not completed in line with the terms of the charter party.
Our clients make direct rental decisions based on our reports which are delivered quickly and accurately and with a clear inspection result, which allows renters and operators to make timely decisions, within hours of completing the inspection.
Pre-PSC inspections
Remarks or even detentions by Port State Controls can result in serious repercussions and in considerable delays in cargo operations, arrival, and departure of the ship. Prevent them by relying on our group of experts who offer a detailed and accurate assessment in accordance with the guidelines of the Italian PSCs and the Paris Memorandum. Through detailed inspection, a clear and impartial view of the current situation of the ship is provided and possible remarks that can be a source of detention or delays are identified. Areas for improvement, maintenance, and documents that need to be reviewed prior to an actual PSC visit are quickly identified. A detailed report is sent in a short time in order to guarantee the ship operator to make timely and efficient decisions.
Vetting and PSC preparations
By collaborating with the crew on board and with the Company office, the various delicate fields of inspections are analysed and implemented in order to guarantee maximum efficiency and evaluation during inspections by the competent bodies. All in compliance with the general reports of the place, the requirements of the current memoranda, SIRE guidelines, and any updates of
the regulations in force.
